MABU was named the 2011 Minority Business of the Year for North Dakota. Mike accepted the award in Fargo last week during the ND/MN Annual Procurement Conference.

The Mabins have been busy attending conferences all to the benefit of MABU.
Mike recently attended a two day conference hosted by the national 8(a) association in Anchorage, Alaska. The conference was attended by business professionals and owners from across the United States and focused on providing small and minority-owned businesses with information and opportunities to perform work for the federal government.
Alex was able to attend a two day session on federal proposal writing at Haskell Nations Indian University in Lawrence, KS. The conference focused on topics ranging from the federal contract procurement process to crafting technical and cost proposals and featured business leaders experienced in the field of federal contracting, acquisitions, and cost proposals.
